Dear Sir:
The following petition was heard at a meeting of the Board of Appeals on Monday
evening, June lO, 1963 at the Town Office Building. YAnbere present and voting
were: Daniel T. OtLeary, Chairman; Henry E. Lvnd, John J. Shields, Arthur
Drummond and Associate Member Robert J. Burke who sat in place of Willim Norton.
Eleanor J. Palmieri requested a variation of Sec. 7, Para. 7.22 of the Zoning
By-Law so as to permit the construction of a garage at end of driveway, 5 feet
from side lot line on the premises, located at North side of Rosedale Ave.,
75 feet from the corner of Longwood St., known as No. 32 Rosedale Avenue.
-This public hearing was advertised in the Eagle Tribune on Nay 27 and June 3,
1963. All abutters were duly notified by certified mail of this hearing.
There were no abutters present and there was no opposition.
The Board discussed said voted an the petition. lir. Shields made a motion to
GRANT the variance,, Mr. Burke seconded the motion and the vote was unanimous.
This variance is granted for the fallowing reasouss
1. There exist certain conditions, especially affecting the parcel in question,
which do not generally affect the entire zoning district in which the parcel is
located.
2. Unless the variance is granted, the applicant will suffer substantial hard-
ship, financial or otherwise.
3. The requested variance will not adversely affect the public good..
4. The requested variance will not be in substantial derogation from the intent
or purpose of the Zoning Bylaw.
