In granting this Special Permit, the Planning Board finds, pursuant to
Section 10 . 31 - Conditions for Approval of Special Permit's of the
Zoning Bylaw, that the following conditions are met:
a) Lot B Ashland Street is an appropriate location for a common
driveway to be used by two multifamily residences ;
b) For the use of lots A & B, the common driveway will not adversely
affect the surrounding .neighborhood since it minimizes the need for
on-street parking and an additional curb cut on Ashland Street for the
use ,of Lot A.
c) There will be no nuisance or serious hazard to vehicles or
pedestrians associated with the common driveway Special Permit.
d) Adequate and appropriate facilities will be provided in accordance
with the conditioned approval for the proper operation of the common
driveway.
e). Based on the site visit, public hearing process , review and input
from town boards and departments , the location of the proposed common
driveway is considered to be more in harmony with the general purpose
and intent of the Zoning Bylaw than the placement of two individual
driveways at the same location.
