The meeting was called to order by the Chairman at 8:00 P. M. Members present
were Mr. Finck, Mr. Alvino, Mr. Boeglin, Mr. Lurid and Mr. ~icetta.
A petition for variance by Cornelius Keatin~, through his counsel, Judge Arthur
A. Thomson, was presented.
Motion made by Mr. Nicetta to table the matter until the next meeting. Motion
secouded by Mr. Boeglin.
Renewal of permit for Sheltering Arms Nursing Home was granted to Margaret M.
Pariseau.
Meeting adjourned at 8':30 P. M.
November 14, 1955.
The meeting was called to order by the Chairman at 8:00 P.M. Members present
were Mr. Finck, Mr. Alvino, Mr. Nicetta, Mr. Lurid and Mr. Boeglin.
A petition for variance bY Cornelius H. Keating was discussed in which he was
asking for a Section 4 variance. There was considerable discussion as to the size
of lot and it was decided that N~. Keating could get it in if he followed the
lot line.
There was further discussion as to whether or not Mr. Keating had definitely
purchased the lot as there was no record of the transfer in the newspaper. Mr.
Finck decided that they should look at the register to see if there was any record.
The record showed the lot registered by Mr. CorneLius H. Keating in the Land Court
on ~uly 11, lP55-
A motion was made by Mr. Finck to turn the chair over to the secretary. Motion was
not seconded; motion denied. New motion made by Mr. Nicetta, and seconded by Mr.
Finck, to turn the chair over. Vote was taken, and the chair was turned over to
the secretary.
Mr. Nicetta made a motion, which was seconded by Mr. Boeglin, that the application
for variance be denied because of the reason that it did not comply with the by-laws.
Clerk asked to notify Judge Thomson, attorney for Mr. Keating, of the Board' s
decision.
