The Board of Appeals held a public hearing on June 9, 1987 on the application of
Robert Salemme requesting a Special Permit from the requirements of Section 4,
Paragraph 4.121(17) of the Zoning Bylaws so as to permit construction of a family
suite for use by Sophie Eoonis, mother of Nancy G. Salemme, on the premises located
at 50 Boxford Street. The following members were present and voting: Frank Serio, Jr. ,
Chairman, Alfred Frizelle, Vice-chairman, Augustine Nickerson, Clerk, Walter Soule
and Raymond Vivenzio.
The hearing was advertised in the North Andov er Citizen on May 21 and May 28, 1987
and all abutters were notified by regular mail.
Upon a motion by Mr. Vivenzio and seconded by Mr. Frizelle, the Board VOTED, unanimously,
to GRANT the Special Permit as requested, subject to the following conditions:
1. The premises be occupied by Sophie Eoonis.
2. The Special Permit shall expire at the time Sophie Eoonis, ceases
to occupy the family suite.
3. The Special Permit shall expire at the time the premises are
conveyed to any person, partnership or corporation.
4. The applicant, by acceptance of the Certificate of Occupancy
issued pursuant to the Special Permit, grants to the Building
Inspector or his lawful designee the right to inspect the
premises annually.
The Board finds that the petitioner has satisfied the provisions of Section 100
Paragraph 10.31 of the Zoning Bylaw and the granting of this Special Permit in
particular will not derogate from the intent and purpose of the Zoning ByLaw nor
will be adversely affect the neighborhood.

Dear Mr. Long:
The Board of Appeals held a public hearing on Monday evening,
May 9, 1983 upon the application of Robert Salemme. The hearing
was advertised in the North Andover Citizen on April 21 and 28,
1983 and all abutters were notified by regular mail. The following
memb rs were present and voting: Frank Serio, Jr. , Chairman;
Al
fx ' d E. Frizelle, Esq. , Vice Chairman; Richard J. Trepanier,
Esq. f Clerk; Augustine W. Nickerson, and William J. Sullivan.
The petitioner seeks a variance from the provisions of Section 7,
Paragraph 7. 3 and Table 2 of the Zoning By Law to permit relief
from the side setback requirement to allow the continued use of
a single family dwelling on premises located at 50 Boxford Street.
The etitioner testified that when a` recent plot plan was required
by t e bank for mortgage purposes , the violation was discovered. .
No changes are proposed for the dwelling.
Uponla motion made by Mr. Frizelle and seconded by Mr. Nickerson,
the hoard voted unanimqusly to grant the variance. The Board finds
that each of the conditions set forth in Section 10. 4 of the Zoning
By Law have been satisfied. In particular, the Board finds that
due to the location of the dwelling with a small deviation from the
requirements of the Zoning By Law constitutes a'hardship under the
definition of the Zoning By Law. Said variance, in the opinion of
the Board, will not derogate from the intent and purpose of the
Zoning By Law,
