The meeting was c~11ed to order at 7:30 P. M. Members present,Ralph Finck~ Chairman,
Benry Lund, Alfred Boeglin, Secretary, Kenneth Terroux and Nicholas Nicetta.
Mr. Chairman accordingly read the application cf Donald P. Boo*.~, 235 Pleasant Street,
for a variance to erect a slngle-family dwelling, the points he lists are hardship in
purehasi2g said lot on which he felt he could bn.~d.
The petitioner Donald Bootman and son, and abbutters 0harles T. ~aKinnon and John
were present.
The petitoner stated he could build a house lawfully without going through the cham~el
of the Board, but felt if he could erect a larger dwelling it would be an improvement
in the neighborhood.
John Milnes, abbutter was opposed to the petition by stating it was too close to his
dwelling o
Charles N~Xinnon, abbutter was also opposod for the s~w~ reason, and further went em
to say he did not think the lot was large enough. At this statement, Mr. Bootman re-
plied he could erect a sm~ller house, but thought it would detract from the neighborhood.
Mr. Nicetta moved that the petition be taken under advisement. Mr. Lund seconded this
motion. All members were in favor.
Mr. Mrs. Bouthman accompanied by Selectman Arthur P. Kirk appeared before the Board
for the purpose of selling agricultural, products and tables and stools made by Mr.
Bou~_~w--. The Bouth~ns' were given applications to ftll out for the purpose of a
permit.
Mr. Ohairw~n read the application of 0atherinp N~ Kennedy. Mr. Chairm~ informed
the petitioners that the Board could go no lower than 101 on a side line. The petitioner
at present has 8t. The said lot situated on lot 32 of Brightwood Avenue is on a corner.
The Ohairm~u stated, if they could get their engineer to rearr_~_nge the plans so there
would be 10' on the side line the Board could act accordingly. Motic~ was made by
lund and secomdod by Mr. Terroux that the petiton be taken under advisement. It was
1tumultuOUS. NO abbutters were present.
Mr. Oarmelo Nari~o, 229 High Street, Lawrence came before the Board for a variance
on the front lot requirements. Said property in question is located on the Eas~ side ef
Wood 'Lane.
No abbutters were present.
Mr. Lund moved that the motion be taken under advisement,
motion. It was unanimous.
The Board will hold a brief meeting Monday Event"g, April 16 at 7:30 P. N.
The meeting adjourned at 8:45 P. M.
