* DECISION
The Board of Appeals held a public hearing on August 11, 1987 on the application of
John J. & Frances Sullivan requesting a variance from the requirements of Section 7,
Paragraph 7.3 and Table 2 of the Zoning Bylaws so as to permit relief from setback
requirements for the building. The following members were present and voting: Frank
Serio, Jr. , Chairman, Augustine Nickerson, Clerk, William Sullivan, Raymond Vivenzio
and Anna O'Connor.
The hearing was advertised in the North Andover Citizen on July 9 and July 16,
1987 and all abutters were notified by regular mail.
Upon a motion made by Ms. O'Connor and seconded by Mr. Sullivan, the Board voted
to GRANT the variance as requested with the condition that it only be a one-story
building. The vote was unanimous.
The Board finds that the petitioner has satisfied the provisions of Section 10,
Paragraph 10.4 of the Zoning Bylaws and the granting of this variance will not de-
rogate from the intent and purposes of the Zoning Bylaws nor will it adversely
affect the neighborhood.
