Grelle 0 6 1979 Longwood Ave. VIP j Petition #2-79 Daniel Long, Town Clerk `` 4oe Town Office Building °2 Ez Za Z North Andover, Ma. Dear Mr. Longs A public hearing was held by the Board of Appeals on January 22, 1979 upon application of Paul J. & Robin A. Grelle requesting a variation of Sec. 6.1, 6.3 and Table 2 of the Zoning By-Law so as to permit the construction of single family dwelling on a lot having less than the required area and setback minimums, as shown on a plan dated October, 1978 owned by Robert H. Gartside and located on Longwood Ave. The following members were present and voting: Drank Serio, Jr., Chairman; Alfred E. Frizelle, Vice-Chairman; R. Louis DiFrusoio, Clerk; James D. Noble, Jr.; and Richard J. Trepan- ter, Assoc. Member.', The hearing was advertised in the Lawrence Eagle-Tribune on Jan. 6 A 13, 1979 and all abutters were duly notified by regular mail. After hearing testimony by Atty. Pitoochelli, who represented the petitioner, stating that the property is presently owned by Mrs. Grelle's mother and father, the lot size is 6,857 ft., front setback is 18.2 ft. and rear setback, 1 ft., the lot abuts a paper street called Maplewood Ave. and it would be a hardship to the land because it lies fallow and to thetitioner because of the state of the mortgage market, the following: 1 gads Mr. Guido Lombardi,; 11 Minute Ave., Peter Narusevicius, and Robert Gartside all spoke in favor of the petition. Opposition was expressed by Mrs. Nelson, 46 Longwood Ave., Florence Kilcourse, represented by her son, John, 5 Longwood Ave., Edward Sullivan, 24 Longwood Ave. A motion was made by Mr. Frizelle to DENT the petition due to the fact that it does not meet the provisions of Sec. 9.5 of the Zoning By-Law and Sec. 6.8 is not applicable to this lot. Mr. Trepanier seconded and the vote was unanimous.
