Dear Sirs
The following petition was heard at a Meeting of the Board of Appeals on Monday
evening, fiber 16, 1963 at the'Town Office Building. Members present and voting
were: Daniel T. O'Leary, thairmazn; Williaa Icton, Secretary; John J. Shields,
Arthur Drummond and Robert J. Burke, associate member who sat in place of Henry Lt d.
GUIDO LCKBARDI requested a variation of Sec. 7, Para. 7.22 of the Zoning ByyLaw so
as to permit the erection of a garage nearer to the lot lines than is allowed under
the Zoning Byi-Law, on the premises, located at the west side of Minute Avenue known
as 11 Minute Avenue.
This public hearing was advertised in the Eagle Tribune on August 31 and Beptember 9,
1963• -All abutters were duly notified of this hearing by certified mail. The peti-
tioner appeared for himself. There were no abutters present and there was no oppo-
sition.
The Board discussed and voted on the petition. Mr. Burke made a notion to GROT
the variance. Mr. Shields seconded the Motion and the vote was unanimous.
This variance is granted for the following reasenss
1. There emitt certain conditions, especially affecting the parcel in question,
which do not generally Affect the entire zoning district in which the parcel is
located.
2. Unless the variance is granted, the applicant will suffer substantial hardship,
financial or otherwise.
3. The requested variance will not adversely affect the public good to any sub-
stantial extant and will not materially affect the general character of the neighborhood.
4. The requested variance will not be in substantial derogation from the intent or
purpose of the Zoning By-Law.
