Dear Sir: The following petition was heard at a meeting of the Planning Board on Monday evening, August 19, 1963 at the Town Office Building. Members present and voting were: James M. Bannan, Chairman; Robert J. Burke, Secretary; Howard Gilman and William Chepulis. Mr. George Farley attended, but left early, and was not present to vote. John D. & Vera M. MacDonald petitioned to sub-divide a tract of land bordering on Great Pond Road, in accordance with plans submitted. Atty. John J. Willis repre- sented the petitioners, along with the developer Arthur Collins and civil engineer George Hayes, and described a plan under which some 46 to 48 homes would be con— structed on the site. Approximately 12 abutters and residents of the area attended, of which only two were chief objectors. Mr. Burke made a motion to approve the sub-division plans, subject to restrictions. 2r. Gilman seconded the motion and the vote was unanimous. The restrictions are as follows: 1. Approval of the Board of Health on each lot. 2. Approval of the Highway Dept. in writing as to construction of roads and disposal of surface drainage. 3. Approval of the Dept. of Public Works of water installations. l+.
