Regular Meeting
The regular monthly mestfng of the Board of Appeals was held on
Monday, Feb usry 9, z959 at the Town Building. Members present
and voting were: Daniel T. 0'Leary, Chairman, Henry E. Lund,
Donald F. Smith and Charles Foster Jr. associate Member. Ma.
Foster was designated by the Chairman to sit in place of K~nneth
Terroux, regular member who was absent.
1st hearing. The petite, on of Rita and Joseph Lada who petitioned
for a s~deline variance under Section 7.72. The pet~t~.oners at,posted
for tt, e~sel~es. They st~ted they h~ve owred the land since 19~7, and
Would like to build a single family dwelling.
The matter was taken under advisement.
2nd hearing. The petitioner, Michael Corradino, 273 Greene Street
asked to withdraw his petition without prejudice.
The Board voted unanimously to give petitioner leave to withdraw.
Mr. Smith moved to grant the Variance to 'Joseph & Ri~a Lada inasmuch
as they have owned the land since 1947. The plan showing the lot was
recorded in 1924. To deny the petition would be a financial hardship
on ~he petitioners. Mr. Henry Lurid seconded the motion. Unanimous
vote.
The meeting adjourned at 8:45 PM.
