Dear Sirs The following petition was heard at a meeting of the Board of Appeals on Monday evening, August 3-4, 1964 at the Town Office Building. Members present and voting were: Daniel T. O'Leary.. Chairman; William Morton, Secretary; Arthur Drummond, John J. Shields and Associate Member Howard Gilman, who sat in place of henry Lund. SANTINA M. FAILLA requested a variation of See. 3.5, Para. 3.51 of the Zoning By—Law so as to permit the combination of 6 lots to make 3 lots, each to contain 10,000 sq. ft. on the premises, located at the north side of Mablin Ave. between Kenwood and Jetwood Streets. This public hearing was advertised in the Eagle Tribune on July 27 and August 3, 1964. All abutters were duly notified of this hearing by certified mail. There were two abutters present, but there was no opposition. Mr. Charles Maniacs represented the petitioner, who was also present. The Board discussed and voted on the petition. Mr. Shields made a motion to GRANT the variance. Mr. Morton seconded the motion and the vote was unanimous. This variance is granted for the following reasons: 1. There exist certain conditions, especially affecting the parcel in question, which do not generally affect the entire zoning district in which the parcel is located. 2. Unless the variance is granted, the applicant will suffer substantial hardship, financial or', otherwise. 3. The requested variance will not adversely affect the public good to any substantial extent and will not materially affect the general character of the neighborhood. I+.
