Dear Sir:
The following petition was heard at a meeting of the Board of Appeals on
Monday evening, January 15, 1962 at the Town Office Building. Members
present and voting were: Daniel T. O'Leary, Chairman; Harold Morley,
Secretary; Robert J. Burke and Associate Member Alfred Boeglin who sat
in place of regular member Henry E. Lund.
Jennie Faraci requested a variation of Sec. 4, para. 4.11(A) of the Zoning
By-Law so that a special permit may be issued for the conversion of second
story of one duplex apartment to an additional, dwelling unit, thus making
a total of 3 dwelling units for the entire house, on the premises located
at 49 Maple Avenue.
This public hearing was advertised in the Sag*h-Tribune on December 23,
1961 and January 5, 1962. All abutters were duly notified by certified
mail of this hearing.
Mrs. Faraci and daughter, Mrs. Sbionis, were present to explain the requested
conversion. There were no abutters present and there was no opposition to
the petition.
The Board discussed and voted on the petition. Mr. Burke made a ration to
GRANT the variance. Mr. Boeglin seconded the motion and the vote was
unanimous.
The proposed conversion conforms to the existing houses in the area and
complies with the requirements as set forth in the Zoning By-Law.

After a public hearing given on the above date, the Board of Appeals voted to APPM the
Variance And hereby authorize the Building Inspector to issue a
permit to Jannis Farad
for the construction of the above work, based upon the following conditions:
