Dear Sir:
A public hearing was held by the Board of Appeals on June 12, 1978 upon application of
Prank H. & Janice Fernalld who requested a variation of Sec. 6.3 and Table 2 of the
Zoning By-Law so as to permit a side setback variance for construction of porch as
shown 'on a plan of land dated May, 1978 and located at 121 Raleigh Tavern Lane. The
following members were present and voting: Frank Serio, Jr. , Chairman; Alfred E.
Frizelle, Vice-Chairman; R. Louis DiFruscio, Clerk; James D. Noble, Jr. ; and John J.
Gaffky, III.
The hearing was advertised in the Lawrence Eagle Tribune on May 27 and June 3, 1978
and all abutters were duly notified by regular mail.
The Board found that the location of the dwelling on the lot created a hardship as
evidenced by the previous variance granted. The Board also found that each of the
requirements set forth in Sec. 9.5 of the By—Law had been satisfied and voted unanimously
to GRANT the request upon motion of Mr. Frizelle and second by Mr. DiFruscio.
