Special k'eeting
A special meetingof the Board of Appeals was held on Monday, July 20 at the Town
Building. MeEbers present and voting were: Daniel T. 0'Leary, Chairman, Charles
Foster Jr., Secretary, Howard Gilman, Robert Burke, Henry LE~d and Associate Member
Harold Morley Jr.
Mr. O'Leary called the meeting ~O order at 7:45 PM.
The purpose of the meeting was to see if the Board wanted to reconsider the apolic~.tion
of Mrs. J. Elaine Griffin and Carmelo Marino.
Mr. Burke stated he felt inasmuch as a decision had been made that they should be
left as they were. The Board agreed with Mr. Burke.
Mr. OtLeary read a letter from Town Counsel Salisbury regarding the new law stating
21 days ~otice must be published prior to the hearing.
Mr. Gilman ststed he felt "site plan review" should be written clearly so people
would knSwl~ e~actly what is needed when one is coming in for a hearing. A new
definition was written and will be typed up for distribution.
The meeting adjourned at 8:30 PM.
