At the Annual Adjourned Town Meeting
held in the Town Hall on Saturday, March 1~, 1953 the following
article appeared in the Warrant.
ARTICLE 57. To see if the Tow~ will vote to amend the Zoning
By-Laws bp changing the classification of a piece of property
owned byE~dwardW. Saul from an agricultural to a business
district:
Said property is located on the westerly side of
Salem Turnpike and is bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at an iron pipe in the westerly line of
the Salem Turnpike at State Highway Station 181
thence southwesterly by other land of the said Saul,
85.67 feet to an iron pipe in the center line of an
old abandoned way, thence northwesterly by the center-
line of said old abandoned wayj ~63.~6 fee~ to an iron
pipe; thence northeasterly 29.~8 feet to an iron pipe
in westerly line of the Salem Turnpike; thence southeasterly
by westerly line of the Salem Turnpike, ~6~.38 feet to the
point of beginning.
Petition of Edward W. Saul and ethers.
Under the aforesaid article the following was voted:
VOTED to amend the Zoning By-Laws by changing the classification
of a piece of property owned by Edward W. Saul from an agricultural
to a business district. Said property is located on the westerly
side of Salem Turnpike and is bounded anddescribed as follows:
Beginning at an iron pipe in the westerly line of
the Salem Turnpike at State Highway Station lB1
thence southwesterly by other land of the said Saul,
85.67 feet to an iron pipe in the center line of an
old abandoned way, thence northwesterly by the center-
line of said old aboandoned way~ 563.~g feet to an iron
pipe; thence northeasterly 29.~ beet to an iron pipe
in the westerly line of the Salem Turnpike; thence south-
easterly by westerly line of the Salem Turnpike, ~6~.~8
feet to the point of beginning.
The vote was unanimous and so declared.
