Dear Sir:
At our Annual Adjourned Town Meeting held in the Town Hall on Saturday
March 15, 1952, the following article appeared in the Warrant.
ARTICLE 40. To see if the town will vote to amend existing Zoning By-Laws
by changing from a general residential to business classification the
following described parcel of land:
A certain area in the Town of North Andover on the easterly side of. Winthrop
Street (Lawrence) bounded and described as follows:
Beginnin~g at a point in the easterly line of said Winthrop Street, said point
being 965.58 feet northerly from the intersection of said easterly line on
Winthrop Street with the westerly line of Waverley Road; thence northerly
by the easterly line of said.Winthrop Street 815~ feet tea point; thence
easterly 700 feet to a point, thence southerly 660 feet to a point which
is 200 feet westerly from the westerly line of Waverley Road; thence again
southerly, by a curve which is at all points 200 feet westerly from the
westerly line of Waverley Road, 261 feet to a point; thence westerly 596
feet to the point of beginning. Petition of Kastant J. Shay and others.
That under the aforesaid article it was VOTED to amend existing By-Laws by
changing from a general residential to business classification the following
described Parcel of land:

The vote was unanimous in the affirmative, and so declared.
Four hundred and twenty-six (426) registered voters~were present.
