ULEo REGARDING THE RECORDING IN A REGISTRY OF DEEDS OF PLANS
OF LAND SITUATED IN CITIES ~D T~S ~ICH HAVE ACCEPTED THE
SUBDIVISION CONTROL LAW.

CHAPTER 6'?4 OF THE ACTS OF 1953
NO REGISTER OF DEEDS SHALL ACCEPT FOR RESORD ~EY PLAN
'¢~ICH DOES NOT CONFOPJ~ WITH ONE OF THE 7OLLO~JING PROVISIONS:
(I) Plan with endorsement of P!ann~ng Board
thereon showing approval of subdm~!sion.
(Note: Date of approval must be
within six months of recording date
or have a certificate by the Planning
Board or Town Clerk within thirty days
of recording date~ that the approval has
not been modified,amended or rescinded
or the plan chan~ed.)
(2) Plan with endorsement of Planning Board thereon
stating that no Approval by Board is necessary.
(]} Plan together with Certificate by Town Clerk
that plan presented was submitted to Planning
Board for approval under Subdz~is~on Control law and
that forty-five days have elapsed without action
by said Board and that no appeal taken within
twenty days thereafter.
(~) Plan to~ether with Certificate by Town Clerk that
plan was submitted to Planning Board specifying
that no approval was necessary under the Subdivision
Control Law and that fourteen days haveelapsed without
action by said Board, and that no appeal taken within
twenty days thereafter.
(Note: To~ Clerk must be notified
by delivery or registered mail at
the time of the submission of said
plan to Planning Board.
(5) Plan must have endorsement of majority of the
members of the Planning Board or by the person
authorized in a statement signed by a majority
of the Planning Board and filed in the Registry
of Deeds.
(61 Plans filed in connection with Eminent Domain
or Condemnation proceedings do not require
any Planning Board endorsement.
(NOTE:
All Cities and Towns which have previously accepted
the Planning Board Act must notify the Register of
Deeds in their respective County or District within
sixty days subsequent to January l, 1954, otherwise
the Statute shall be suspended as to such City or
Town until the said notice is filed.)
