Mahoney for his consideration. The appointment of the Constables and Auxiliary Police was held over one more week. Robert Burke was nominated Animal Inspector this date on the motion of Mr. Finneran, seconded by Mr. Thomson and unanimously voted. March 22, 1943 - The regular weekly meeting of the Board of~Selecmmen was held this date. Mr. James Hargreaves came in to the meeting and asked the Board to_make another application for the new fire equipment. He said that his~truck has been laid up for ~wo weeks and he had to use an old 1919. truck...T~e parts for this truck, he said, could not be replaced and therei~a grea~er need now than when the first application was filed and he thought for this reason that they might consider granting the priority .at. this time.
