Regular Meeting
The re ~_ monthly meeting of the Board of Appeals was held on Monday,
October 9' 1961 at the Town Building. Members p~esent and voting were:
Daniel T. O'Leary, Chairm~; Harold Morley, Secretary; Robert J. Burke, Henry E.
Lund and Associate MemBer William Morton, designated by the Chairman to sit in
the place of Howard Gilman.

This hearing ~as in the appeal of Daniel ~. 01enio requesting a site plan
review _of See. 4 Para. 4.44 of the Zoning By-Law so as to permit the erectiea
and operation of a restaurant at 52 Old Clark Street.
This hearing began at 7:55 PL~, at which time the full board was present.
Mr. William Chepulis and Mr. Nor,~ Hughes, abutters, were present but did not
record themselves in favor or opposed.
Mr. Olenio spoke for himself and explained that he came before the Boar~ two
years ago for the same reason but was turned do~n because of a non-confor,~8
use at the time. If the permit is gra~ted this time, he will have the residemae
razed, but would prefer to do tba__t after the restaurant is built. Building would
not be started u~til the Spring of 1962. This would be strictly a restaurant,
not a club, ~ith a capacity of appro~Ately 100 people. He would go along with
any stipulations the Board -~kes.
Mr. Burke made a motion to take the matter under advisement, seconded By Mr. Lund
The Board then discussed the petition. Mr. Burke made a motion to take a vie~
of the property and vote at a later date. Mr. Lund secoz~ed the motion and the
vote was ~ous.
The meeting adjourned at 8:30 P.M.
