Selectman Joseph A. G~thrie ~dth Chairman John F. Coady, presid~mg. Selectmsn McEvoy was
absent due to emergency, postal ~ork due to the storm. The warrant and minutes were
as submitted.
MEETINGS:
The Board met with Atty. John Ford and later, with Ceta workers, Morello and Mikols.
JUROR:
Mary Leu Libby, 46 Prescott Street, was drawn for the March 6 Sitting, at Lawrence.
TOWN REPO~:
Contract for printing the Anmm~ Town Report was awarded to Finn Lithe, Andover, lowest
bidder. Selectman Guthrie motioned to have the report reduced in size to 7 X 1~ seconded
by Selectman Coady. Other bidders will be thanked for submitting their bids.
REVENUE SHARING:
Letter from Town Treasurer contained recommendations regarding Revenue Sharing money for
Fiscal, '79. Board voted to meet with Town Treasurer, Town Accountant, Assessors and the
Advisory Board after Town elections in March to discuss the matter.

Articles were received by the Board and the Warrant was cloSed at 8:10 p.m. One deletion,
per motion of Selectman Guthrie, was the Conservation Aide Article. Selectman Guthrie also
said that the Campion Hall Article should be presented by the Selectmen a~ter the appraiser's
report is finalized, not the Conservation Commission. Chaiman Coady was authorized to
request Transfer of .$940.96 from the Reserve Fund to pay Attorney's fees. Chairman was also
authorized to number the Articles when returned by Towa Counsel and to sign letter for the
new location of the Elderly Housing. Copies of Articles to be made for Advisory Board,
Selectmen and Board of Assessors. Board accepted Brian's Selectmen's report he.'~ad prepared.

Letter from To%m Counsel, Atty. John Willis, regarding his compensation rate for work
the scope of duties as To%m Counsel. He stated that bis compensation, which is basic, would
be $~0.00 per hour.
FEDERAL DISASTER ASSISTANCE:
Brian stated that letter from Harrington's office offered the most reliable information con-
cerning what cities and to?ms can expect in the way of assistance. Brian ~11 attend a
meeting in Beverly on Thursday on the matter.
HUD-ELDERY HOUSING:
L. Minicucci, Ex. Sec., stated that the Housing Authority has accepted proposals for the
constr~ction of 45 units of elederly housing, units to be located in the Belmont Street area
A draft letter was submitted to the Selectmen for approval, to be sent to Hud. Letter was
accepted which contained the Selectmen's approval for the elderly housing site.
0E2~ INTERVIEWS:
Brian S~van advised the Selectmen that a job package for a maintenance cadet position
had been received containing 5 candidates. The~OSelectmen authorized Brian to set up and
interview said applicants and submit his recommendation to the .Boa~rd~txl~xt meeting.
