NOr2H ANDOVER SOCCER ASSOCIATION:
Letter from the above-named association requested aid in getting playing fields for their
~:occer games. B~ard voted to send letter to William McEvoy, Chairman of the Recreation
Council asking that he help the association in any way he can to get playing fields. Mr.
McEvoy was asked to repor~ back to the Selectmen.
99 EESTAUPJd~T, INC.:
Letters received from the Fire Chief, Building Inspector and Atty. Berger, representing
Rey. Farr apartments at Heritage Green on the 99 Restaurant. Letter from Bldg. Inspector
was copy sent to the Manager stating that he ,z zld investigating alleged violations of the
allowed capacity of 151 persons on the first floor and 75 persons on the second floor. The
letter from Atty. Berger stated that the overflow of patrons at the 99 Restaurant resulted
in parking on Heritage Green property and subsequent acts of vandelism. Letter from the
Fire Chief stated that he and a member of the Board of Fire Engineers had visited the
restaurant on January 11, 1979 and called the attention of the Acting Manager to regulations
pertaining to maximum occupancy and referred to the complaint from Atty. Berger. He
assured us of the full cooperation of the restaurant's management. Fire Chief made a
further appointment with the Manager on Saturday, January 13th, for further discussion.
It was voted by the Board to send letters to all license holders advising them of their
maximum occupancy and the regulations thereof. A summary of these occupancies will be
sent to the Fire Chief and Police Chief.
ROBER2 EE~ORTHY COMPLAn:
The above-named appeared before the Board complaining about the reason stated on his
pistol license. He wanted the reason to be for protection of life and property not for
target practice. He stated, when asked, that he was a mechanic. After a discussion, the'
Bcard voted to send a letter to Acting Chief, Sgt. Donnelly, requesting reason why such 'a
determination was made for reason for issuing license.
CONPLAINT-GAIL CRANE:
Letter s'eceived from Gall M. Crane, 25 Edmands Rd., North Andover stating that She tripped
on a piece of a sign post which x. ms protruding out of the ground, rippi~ her slacks and
lacerating her right knee and bruising her left elbo~.~. Board voted to send complaint to
Public I~Yorks superintendent for investigation and report.
SWANSON DOG CO~PLA~T:
Usual complaint re the Dog Leash Law received from David Swenson, 37 Fernview Ave. Board
stated that the Dog Officer could not be everywhere at once, that more personnel would have
· to be hired to make the Dog Leash Law mere effective.

Received:
Application for beer/~.rime license to be drunk on the premises from JimmT's
Pizza, 1591 Osgood St, (C. Stoupis, G. Stoupis and Z. Mantzekis) Board voted
to advise them that the application ~uld be held on file until licenses
available are determined.
Application for a t.~xi cab license from David J. Rennie3m& tabled until

The Selectmen voted to award the printing of the Tm.~n Report to Finn Litho, 1rarest bid sub-
mitted out of six bids, amount .~2635.00. Others were Naiman Press, fj3644.00, To,rn Printigg,
$4059.50, Lawrence Lithograph, 84765.00, Graphic Litho, .~899.30 and Copies Unlimited,
$6647.00. Letters, expressing thanlm for submitting their~bfi~3 be sent out to the
above-named companies.
