ALL NIGHT PARKING BAN:

The Board unanimously voted to lift the Ail Night Parking Ban with the stip-
ulation that, in the event of a spring snowstorm, it will automatically, be
enforced again. Chief Donnelly and Highway Surveyor to be so notified.
TRf~iS~E~?~PECIAL LEGAL SERVICES:
The Board voted to authorize the Chairman to request a transfer of funds
to pay the Special Legal Services of William Dully, Esq.
APPOINTMENT-ANIMAL INSPECTOR:
Dr. Atwood was reappointed to the
ensuing year.

GLCAC, INC:
The Selectmen voted the following: "Voted that the Board of Selectmen,
on behalf of the Town of North Andover, designate the Greater Lawrence
Community ~ction Council, Inc. as the sponsoring agency for programs under
the Economzc Opportunzty Act, effective 1968~"
This vote will be sent to James A. Booth, Chairman of the GLCAC, Inc.
ST. PATRICK'S DAY:
The Board voted to have the next Selectmen's Meeting on Wednesday, March 19ti
because the regular:meeting night falls on St. Patrick's Day.
Notice received that the Annual Essex County Selectmen's Association Meeting
will be,held on June 7th at the Tedesco Country Club in Marblehead. Articles
will be accepted for Annual Town Meeting, June 7th, until May 21, 1980.
RUBBISH COLLECTION BY-LAW:
The Board voted to advertise a hearing on the intent of the Selectmen to
sdbmit an' article on the rubbish collection by-law with the Highway Surveyor.
Hearing~to be on March 31, 1980, at 7:00 P.M.
POLE LOCATIONS:
Selectmen approved the installation of 1 pole on May St. Voted to set heal '
for installation of 3 poles .on May St. on March 24, 1980, at 7:30 P.M.
WRESTLING TEAM:
Parents and officials of the wrestling team, New England Champions two years
in a~row, requested.permission to name Main St. "Howard Crozier" Street on
March 29th~ and to sell bumper stickers, candy, etc. to raise money to send
members ,of the team to Florida during their spring vacation. The vote was
unanimous.to have March 29th, "Howard Crozier" Day.
ARBITRATOR'S AWARD:
Letter from Town Counsel advised the Board that payment was due to be paid
on the Arbitrator's award.~ The Board voted to authorize the Town Treasurer
to make the necessary payments.
POLICE UNION CONTRACT PROPOSALS:
The Board voted to authorize the Chairman to appoint a sub-committee to
confer with Officer Lanning on the proposals for the Agreement.
VIN TURANO:
Letters of support for Vin TuraWo, Conservation Commission memheN,rmeceived.
ARTICLES:
Two articles accepted, subjec to confirmation of signatures, to be submitte~
when warrant is opened.
LICENSING COMMISSIONERS:
Hearing: Application to store 50,000 gal. Mobil Jet A, underground, at Law.
MunicipalAirport for Bird Leasing, Inc. Approved by Fire Chief & Selectmen.
ST. PRTRICK'S DAY CLOSING:
Board votedt0.' allow restaurant liquor license holders to remain open until
2 A.M. on St. Patrick's Day subject to the Police Chief's approve.
