CHESTNUT STREET TRUCK EXCLUSION:
The Selectmen approved the letter and data requesting the DPW to approve a
Heavy Commercial VehiCle Exclusion for a portion of Chestnut Street and

It was so voted.
SENIO~;C~NTER FURNISHING GRANT: '::' '~' "
The Selectmen authorized the Chairman to si~n the grant application,in the
amount of $10,000 for furnishings in the new Senior Center to be bUiItl
LOUIS KMIEC:
Louis Kmiec appeared beforethe Board and advised that both the .,'Fire.~and
Police Chief had approved the closing off of Second Street from
5:30 P.M. on October 24th for the grand opening of the new stores. It was
unanimously voted that the requestbe granted.
APPOINTMENT-HAZARDOUS WASTE COORDINATOR: .~. ,~'.:::<:~'k
William Dolan was appointed as the Hazardous Waste Coordinator to assist, the
ire Chief. He will not have the time, however, to attend meetings in

Ted Phelan presented a contract for the revaluation of.properties ~n Town
which tho Selectmen must Sign per Town Meeting action. Phelan state'd ;tha~;

once. Contract must be in by the 21st to the State. SeleCtmen

the contract and act on it at their October 19th meeting.
