SPECIAL SELECTMEN'S MEETINGS
Chairman Graham requested members of the Board to attend, the following meetings:
Tuesday, April 24, 7:30 p.m ...... Meet with the Advisory Bd. to discuss Dog Officer
Article at the Library. Thursday, April 26, 7:30 p.m ...... Board to meet with Rick Domas
to review presentation to be made on Article 85 (Access Road) in the Selectmen's Meeting
Room. Saturday, April 28,: I~)':00 A.M .... Selectmen to meet to have final discussion on
Town Meeting Articles,...Selectmen's Meeting Room.
DISCUSSION OF TOWN MEETING ARTICLES:
The Board discussed Town Meeting articles submitted by the $~lectmen. They agreed
that the Council On Aging Director be on S-6 level at a salary of $12,000/yr. Fire Chief
Dolan stated that Article 8 concerning retention of Dana Fisher on the Board of Fire
Engineers would be withdrawn at Town Meeting. John B. wants the Board to determine
who will speak on the Selectmen's articles:at Town Meeting. The grant for the access
road was discussed. Selectman Salisbury stated that he was surprised it had not been
granted and he though it very important to carry the message to the Town's people that
this access road was very necessary.
SENIOR CENTER FURN
The Board of S.electmen~..unanimously voted to have the Cou.n, cil On Aging spend the
money from Article 5~rin the amount of $15,000 to buy furn,ture for the Senior Center.
The Board voted to go into executive session to discuss Article 71 with the Police Chief.
Article 71 contains the,request of the Police Chief to hire two additional patrolment for
Fy 85.
LICENSING COMMISSIONERS:
APPROVED: I - day'liquor license for Class 1984, Merrimack College, May 12th.
Il-day liquor license for picnic put on by Signal Resco, Inc. May 26th at
the Town Picnic area on Dale St.
RECEIVED: Application for the transfer of the Retail Package Goods Store license at 64
Main Street Liquors, Inc., 64 Main St. from John J. Bonelli to Sandra D.
Monroe. Hearing
set for May 14, 1984., 7:~p.m.
