will be held January 25, 1944'at 6.00 P.M~ at the Hotel Sheraton, Bay State Rd.,

Mrs. Leupold sent a letter to the Board thanking them for their help in 'ob-
taining a light on Sutton Street, in behalf of all residents affected.
A letter was received from Ralph H. Osborn, Director, Department of Conservation,
Division of Fisheries--advising us that there will be no assessment for 1943,
for the operations of'the shellfish purification plant'at Newht~r~port.

Approval wasreceived from Civil Service for $1.00 increase for all .police,
sergeant and Chief effective January l, 1944. (Police) ' ·
Approval was received for provisional appointment of Harold W~od-~as ~egular
patrolman at $2028 ~yearly or $2184 if increase is approved by the D£re~or,

Mr. Thomson made a.motion that the Warrant be closed. Mr. Finneramfseconded~hnd
