follows: On account of the existing emergency no state funds will be ·
available for 1944 Chapter 90 Construction. The amounts indicated below
show the 1944 Chapter 90 Maintenance allotment for your town and are
transmitted for' your information in connection'with the warrant' to .be
submitted at your tow~ meeting. Because the fi~c~'l year ends June 30,
1944, it is essential that all Chapter 90 contracts be executed prior tO

Mr. Thomson requested that the Lawrenc& C. & E..Co. be p~titioned to.install
two. lights on poles -3068 and 2952on Williams Street. If onlyfone l~ght~
can be installed preference is pole # 3068. The street is very~dark:land
dangerous. Lights are needed for the safety of the general public~>~..i.:~..~

Mr. Thomson'made a motion that we renew out demand to the Lawrence ~as~&~
Electric Company that all shades he removed from street lights throughout
the town. Mr. Fiuneran seconded the mo~ion and vote was unanimous.
