He stated that he had talked with Mr. Waddell, who said the vo~e of $75,000 to be used for taxes was not in the warrant end the article to purchase $50,000 war bonds was defeated. Mr. Weddell told Mr. Murphy that it wes up to the towns to decide how much free cash would be used to reduce taxes but hoped they wou~dn'tuse all of it for this purpose.
