Shoup, Region- al administrator in the office of Price Administrator and si~ned by Andrew Coffin, presen~ member and chairman of the Rationing Board in North Andover was received. Resignation is to become effective on March 27, 1945. No action will ~ taken until proper procedure is determined for the appointment~ of a new chairman. CERTIFICATE OF INCORPORATION An application for a certificate of inoorporation has been filed in the office of~the Secretary snd ~st~tememmn~f facts is requested from the Board of ~lectmen in the ma~er of the application of Eathryn M. Salisbury of 105 · Neverly Street, who is to be secretary and member of the Executive Committee. .This met with the approval of the entire board. .~NKNOWN PERSON: Acknowledgment of our letter %o Mr. C. The Board agreed that this ~would be permitted. Meeting. Adjourned The regular weekly meeting of the Board of Selectmen was' held on this day with all members present. Weekly bills and payrolls were approved. TREASURER,S BOND: A bond for $38,600 , #73747, Travelers Indemnity Co., was issued 3/5/1945 and approved on this day by .the Board. Previously approved ~'bY~'Henry Long. · COMPLAINT ON WATER DRAINAG The hearing which was ~o be held on ~his day was cancelled due to the fact that Mr·. HenryBlack had been invited to m~tend'the School Committee meeting on ' March. 16, 1945 to discuss this situation. .REMOVALOF TREE: 'A reques~ on the removal of a tree on Irving Road, was received from Mrs. Walter Hamilton of 27 Troy Road and the board voted unanimously ~o have ths~ee posted ~L and a hearing was se~ for March 26, 1945 at 7:15 P.M. STEVENS',HALL:' The Parent-Teachers Association have changed the date of their whis~ party and requested that they be allowed to use the hall on April 18, 1945 instead of April 4, as previously requested. The Board vo~ed unanimously to gran~ this .request. FUTURE USE OF HALL:'- Mr. Thomson made the suggestion that in the future , persons who are permitted to use the hall should be notified that no more than four hundred persons should be allowed and that the required number of firemen and policemen be hired.' FLAG POLE The flag pole at Memorial Park is in need of a coa~.~, of paint and a new rope is needed. William T. Henrick of 238 B~oadway is willing to do this work for $20.00 providing the rope is furnished. He will furnish white lead paint. ~The Board decided to have this work done. The last painting Job was in 0cto~er,1942
