Mr. Thomson then asked what the costof temporary rinks would.be.sndMr.-,Nargresves
~mentioned the Thomson School, Center Playground. He stated that this was
"only a preliminary report. Mr. Hargreaves suggested that the Stevens
Pond and the Lake could be ploughed when it was determined .that they were
safe enought foe skating and he believed~that they could again try to
flood the Center Playground and the Thomson School. Mr. Thomson mentioned
that the Planning Board would bring in some article in relation to the,sand
bank and it may be possible that there will be a skating rink there.
Mr. Thomson suggested that the Committee talk with Mr. Heyn and see what
he thinks about trying ~o flood the Center and to follow his suggestions
regarding the Lake and StevensPond and that they might.try the Thomson '
School.

Leon Murphy appeared before the Board with two articleswritten up as the
result of a vome taken by the VFW at their last meeting, ar. Murphy .will:
present them for insertion into the town warrant
