Mr. Crawford asked Mr. Cyr. how much he would offer the filling at per truck load and Mr. Oyr replied ~that he would let it go at $1.00 per tr~ck load regardless of the size of the truck. It was then suggested that Mr. Carry should be present at this meeting and he would be .able to tell the board how many trucks he has available for this work if it is to be done. · Mrs.:Thomson then told those present that this was an eyesore and a nuisance ...... and had been for a long time .and if~ we do nothing for a time, later we may have to do something. This opportunity is open for a short time and he' asked if it is of sufficient benefit to the town to have .this work done at this price. Forbes Rockwell spoke of ahtll onGlennie's land and thought that perhaps we might be able to get that filling from this hill for wary lit.tle and useit ~o ,fill in.~ Mr.' Crawford' stated that he did not feel that the town was getting any-bargain in this office and that perhaps this work could be done at any time for this price ~ There wasa ~eneral discussion on this proposal and Mr. Thomson then asked if all were of the opinion that Mr. Cyr write a proposal and dend one ~o each member of the Advisory Board so that they may discuss it when the board is all ~ogether.
