DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS: Approval as of'July 11, 1947 was received from the Commissioners for the work done under the provisions of Section 34, Chapter 90 of the General Laws, in the improvement of a section of road under contract 10~09, dated June 9, 1947, be- tween Town of North Andovsr and John D. Driscoll. DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIc WORKS: A copy of an order drawn on this town in favor of John D. Driscoll for the sum of $4,170~23 on account of work done under contract with the Sown was received and bill referred to the Highway Department for payment. HOSPITALBILL-LIFE GUARD: A bill for the amount of $87.50 from the Clover Nospital was received for services and care rendered ~e Joseph Willis, Life guard at the Bathing Beach. Bill was referred to the Aetns Casualty and Surety Company. MEETING ADJOURNED: The regular by-monthly meeting of the Board of Selectmen was held on this day at 7:00 o'clock with all members present.
