One notice 'is dated December 3, 1947 showing ~na 10,000 lumen light:.~on. Waterl one 6~000 lumen light on Mass. Ave. and.one 2500 lumen light' on Elm;,.Street. · The second notice shows a 10,000 lumen light on Pole #352 Main Steet,'~one'~2500 lumen light on Johnson Stree, one on Russell Street, and,one .1,000 lumen'light on Midcllesex Street and Lysan Road. This investigation was as the result af.a"re~est' ' from the Selectmen for a survey to be made of the above streets .... The Hoard voted unanimouSly'to have these lights installed. STREET LIGHT - SECOND STREET $2500 lumen light; ~' , Mr. Frost called to inform the board that they had installed a 2500 lumen street light on Pole #58- Second Street. The request was originally for. a light on Pole #58 on Main'Street but upon investigation, the pole number was found to be a telephone pole number and the other light had heart, installed. They wanted the board to decide whether they should remove the street;light on Second Street or leave it there and still install the other one on.Main Street. Upon investigation, it was found that the part of Second Street where the'light was installed was on a' bad cur~e and in a very dark section and the board voted to leave it there and to have the other one installed on Main Street. Mr. Frost will be so notified.
