JURY LIST= The Board was informed that there, are 13 'names to be replaced on the Jury list which is to be compiled in July. ' TYLER ROAD-VOTED 19~ ANNIIAL TOWN MEETING: A letter received from M. A.~ Cristaldi assuring the Board of .Selectmen that he will comply with .the Regulations for Laying Our Streets as adopted by the Selectmen on January 13, 1947 as required by vote of the 1948 Annual Town Meeting as a condition to the extension of the sewer system on Tyler Road from Pembrook Road to Woodbridge Road '~and on Pembrook Road from Greene Street for a distance of 475 feet. This letter will be filed under Laying out streets.. NORTH ANDOVER HOUSING AUTHORITY: The Board of Selectmen after serious consideration voted to appoint the following men as members of the local Housing Authority, the fifth member to he appointed by the State: Francis B. Eittredge, 56 Academy Road, ~ohn Costello, 15 Middlesex Street, Edward Garvey, 182 Middlesex Street, and Irving Rowes, 164 ~ohnson Street. Letter will Be sent to each member and ask that they accept the appointment. The State Housing Authority will then be notified. . JUICE 18, 1948~ ..... Board of Public Works to discuss, tho erection of a fence at the trestle Of the "Dizzy ,Bridge" off Main Street, which, has been discussed :several times.~ Mr. Speffor~ reports that it is the policy Of .hi~ company not 'to maintain or erect-amy~fences unless so stated when pr$pe~ty is sold-~nd it appears in the deed 'or"Whafe,, cattle cross t~e tracks~ Mr.. Thomson then read chapter 160, section 87 a~d ~a gen~al discussion %as held. The coat of the erection of th~ gate, plus' posts and. a .twenty foot fence would cost approximately $225/00 according to.specifications presented by Mr. Duff~from the Nesbitt Company of LaWrence. Mr. Duffy stated that this company is doing the i~entical .'same type of work in Methuen and, he'. feels sure that this material could be supplied~ Mr~ SPOfford stated that-when an~. industry~:wante a fence erected, going into .their property, a clause is put in :the agreement ,to PrOteCt .the, Railroad. Mr. Thomson agreed t.hat this might help.solve the p~oblem[and the other me2bers felt the same. They asked that Mr. Duffy secure thase signs and have them posted at the bathing beach. MEETING ADJOURNED~ The by-monthly meeting cf the Board of Selectmen was held on this day at 7~00 P.M. with all members present. Weekly bills and payrolls were approved.
