HomeMy WebLinkAbout1949-06-06474 ~-continued CLOCK IN HIGH SOHOOL TOWE~: A communication received from the Howard Clock Products, Inc. informing'the' Board that they would be pleased to send a representative to make a suxwey of the High School ~ower clock at a charge of $30.00, but that this amount would be credited toward Cost of repairs, provided order is received.within thirty days after quotation. After some discussion the Board voted unanimously to have this survey made. SCHOOL' DEPARTMENT: Letter from Mr. O'Brien informing the board that it will'be .a year before the committee can get ready to abandon the Center School and that the letter from the Recreational Council will come before the meeting on July 7, 1949. Mr. 0'Briun also included some information with reference to the'High'~School clock showing that the responsibility of repairing the clock rests with the Selectmbn. The location in ~tuestion is on Osgood Street and covers approximately ~9 acres of land.
