The board voted unanimously to refer this matter ~o the Chief of Police for action. BOARD OF TRADE: A communication received from the Board of Trade, Lighting ~ommittee suggesting that the Selectmen refer ~o tho L~rence G & E Co. 'the matter of cleaning out the arc-type lights:in the business district as they are partly filled with dead insects and dirt. Et'is felt that the lishting will be much better'at no cost to the_town if this matter is taken care of. The Board voted:to refer this to the Lawrence G & E Co. for action and request that they make a'report of their progress to %his'board4 The Board of Trade will be so notified. TREE REMOVAL ~EQUEST: A r~ques~ for the removal of a tree at 392 Mass. Ave. was received from Ralph ~. G£ffin as the roots have grown into his lawn and caused some extent of damage. BEE NUISANCE: Reply from the Department of Agriculture relative ~o the complaint made about bees on Camden Street, informing the beard that it is quite positive that a honeybee was responsible for stingingthe child and that it is unlikely that there ~ould be a repetition of this incident and as the season progresses: the. honeybees have more and more sources for work in the field and the likeli' hood of stinging theneighbors would be less and less.
