The Selectmen met with Mr. Ford from the Beverly Office to discuss the work to be done on
Great Pond Road, under Chapter 90, and to discuss the matter of, where the work .should start.
Mr. ~homeon personally~lt that it would be better to star~ at State Highway and this
was agreeable to the other members of the board.
Mr. Ford.t will ,provide a plan showing theland ,to be taken and they will be made by the
~ngineer'. He ~aid there would probably be about 1650 feet from the State Highway which
would be done this year and possibly 200 feet more..
· No action will be taken until the plans are submitted by Mr. Ford.

Mr. Houghton Fa2nham cam~ Before the Board to request that four street lights be' placed
at,,the following locations: one at I538o~u~npike, one at the corner of Sullivan St. and
Turnpike Street, one at 2037 Turnpike St. and one at 1803 Turnpike Street. He said it
w~s very dark down there and thought 'these lights were needed. The Board voted ~o write
a letter to the Gas Company to find ou~ if all these lights could be operated with one
photo-electric cell or if each light would require a cell and also what the cost would be.

A Juror was required to be drawn to -~erve at Superior Court f~r the transaction of
criminal b~siness, at Lawrence, on September 17, 19~1. Mr. Ftnneran drew the name of
Michael Fitzgerald, 35 Milton Street, North Andover, ~Bus--Oparator. .
