NOTIFICATION received that cur letter of Sept..26, concerning request for a sidewalk
to be constructed on. Mass. Ave. has been referred ~to the District Highway Engineer
in Beverly for investigation and report. When report is received, Mr. J. 'C. Cressy
will again contact this board on this subject'.

Communicati'on 'received informing'this board that:the,vicinity of 474 Waverley
Road had been checked _a~__.d .t~.ey recom.m.~nded the installation of two 2500.~lumen ~
lights to replace the. exms~ng 1000 -umen lights which would improve ~th~ distribution
of illumination along the roadway. The. cost o~ these lights would be' $20.00 per year.
In the interim, a request had been made,by this board for a survey of Waverley Road
in this some area as. a light had been requested by' Arthur Fonrnier and 'the company
informed the board'that':they'will recheck:Waverley Road to covet'both requests and-
make a recommendation as seen as possible. ,,.

are'misspelled and the assessors had made inquiry as to the correct spelling of
this street. The petition as presented to ~this board was spelled WATE~LEY..ROAD
and that is-to be,, considered the correct,spelling..The.board voted!.to,requ~st
Mr. Carry to correct' the signs and~ the Assessors will also be. notified of this
spelling.

A hearing was 1held at ?:2~p.M.~ on the ~petit~on. of 'Roger'Wentworth,' ~7 Second
-, Street for the removal of a':tree in,front ~f his .p~operty. Mr;.~,Connors-reported .
-that this tree is directl.~f in the middle of his driveway~ Just recently made
and that it should be removed. The board vo~ed unanimously to instruct the
tree warden to remove this tree. ,..,,

A hearing was held on the' petition of the above companies' 'for Bermission to
locate poles, wires, cables and fixtures along and across Salem Street, at
Farnum Street, 1 pole. Abutters had been n:otifiad and there was no opposition.
