The .regular meeting of 'the Board of Selectmsn was held on this date with all members present,
Selectmen Ra2mcnd BromLhead, F~e~ p. Oakes and Chairman Finneran presiding:
New England Tel. & ~el. Co, & Mass. Electric Co,patay were granted permission to locate 1 Joint
p.ole on Vnglewood Street. Two other hearings for same companies for pole locations on Forest
and East Water Street were set up l~ 7:4~ p.m. on November 19, 1962,
STREET LIGHT REQUESTS:
Requests were received for street light on pole in front of 30 Wright Avenue and 674 L ~
Street, 131 Osgood Street. The..eleotric light company will be asked for a survey of same.'
The Board accepted the' electric compony's recommedstion, for street lighting at the corner of
Sutton and Osgood Streets and voted to have the lights installed.

Janitor to replace Er. Charles:Sheen who had to resign because of a Oounty ruling all people
over170 years of age cannot be, employed by the town. Er. Ernest Doherty, 396 Main Street, also-

An invitation to participate in the 7sterants Day Parade was ~ecsived by the three Selectmen'
who will all attend.
Notice 1 ~s received of the retirement of Au~nin Giarrusso, employed by the Public Works as a
maintenance man.
STATE DEPARTNENT OF PUBLTC WC~KS: "Relocation, Advertising and Assistance."
Mr'. Joseph Malgeri met with:the Board to explain and advise them of the workings and problems.
