Willis ~shed ~obe' ,: recorded' ~ Opposed~ FEBR~AR~ 15, 1954- continued STOP SIGNJ NOT REC0~ED ~ CHIEF MCKEE Chief McKee informed the board that he had a man check the number, of cars out of Forest Street for an eight hour period and only 13 cars came out cZ the About 70 cars went northerly and scatherly on Boxford Street.. Chief McKee said he would not recommend 'a s~op sign at this point. He doubted very tach if the · State would ,approve of this and it would have to be taken up with them and checked. In,view of the chief,s recommendation, the board voted to inform Nr. Anthony Camasso, who made the requ.es~, of the chief's recommendation and that the board would abide by that decision. , mAC0'~DENT-- CA~ v. ~REE DEPARtmENT TRUCK: Chief. NcKee informed the board that he had investigated this accident and he had reports from the two drivers. Mrs. Cashman informed him that she was going home along Dale Street on February 1, 1954 about 11 A.M. and the stree was very icy.'~ She'saw the truck when she was about seventy yards away and she said she probably got excited and applied her brakes and skidded into the rear of the truck. .Her car was taken to V6rd~.s garage and repaired at a cost, of $400. Mr.. ~cKee said he couldn'bsee~how the car could be damaged tc that extent since 'the other car·had only a ~deep~ cdt in 'the rear tire..... " ......... Morgan, 36 Milton Street' for the ~emoval of a tree,in front of his property. Mr. Connors informed the board tha~ the tree is directly, in,~ine with his driveway and should be removed. The Board voted unanimously to request the tree warden to remove this tree. R~QUEST FOR TR~ REMOVALS: · - A requesm for the removal of two trees on Maple Ave. and Second Street was re- ceived from O;E, Faraci. He stated that the trees are causing trouble with- the sewage pipes and he has had to have the Board of Public Works come up and clear them. The Board voted unanimously to refer this matter to the ~ree warden for investigation. A request for removal of a tree at 69 Davis Street was received from William Roberts.
