Selectman Broadhead stated the Town Counsel may have the wording but the Selectmen had not. The wording or change of wordirg of the Articles did not change the essence of said Article but presented it in a more propmr manner. WARRANT RE-OPENED: Special Town Meeting, March 14, 1964. Chairman Finneran called the meeting to order and re-opened the warrant at 7:45 p.m. to insert an Article for the construction of the new Greater Lawrence Regional Vocational Technical High School and to raise and appropriate the To~n of North Andover's share of the cost. The Board voted a Special Town Meeting to be held directly after the annual Town Meeting on March 14, 1964 fwO~rL~nsertion of said Article. Town Counsel will be contacted to edit and submit the proper of orozng of the Article. The warrant was closed at 7:46 p.m. Alice M. Letarte, Secretary HUNT CLUB, INC: Attorney Willis appeared before the Board to ask for rebate on payment of said club's 'license for 1962. Stated Charles Waites, Manager, had paid full amount of $250. to hold license and should have only paid ten percent of the fee. Asked about rebate, the Selectmen advised that the ABC would be sent a letter a~king their decision on the matter. Attorney Willis said that rebate in question would come under General Laws, Chapter 138, Section 23D/ The meeting was adjourned at 8:30 p.m. March 2, 1964 The regular meeting of the Board. of Selectmen was held on this date with Selectmen Fred P. Oakes Raymond Broadhead and Chairman William A. Finneran present. · ADJUDICATION OP STREETS: MEADOW LAN~ AND GLENNCHEST DRIVE: At. 7:30 and 7:35 p.m. hearings on the acceptance of the above-named streets, as town Public Ways was in order. Letters in the affirmative for the acceptance were received from the Board of Public Works, Highway Dept. and Planning Board. A provision was inserted in the acceptance of Meadow Lane from the recommendations of both the Planning Board and Highway Dept. in regards to Meadow Lane. Only one coat of Hot-top had.been put on the street but Attbrney Willis assured the Board of Selectmen that the required second coat of hot-top would be applied as soon as the weather permitted. The Board of Selectmen voted to accept Glanncrest'Drive and to accept Meadow Lane subject to said provision of the Planning Board. Pettoruto sent letter to Board' advising them that he' had appeared before .the Joint Committee of Taxation on the above-named bill to convey the Board of Selectmen's in- terest in the passage of said bill. MASS. ' ELECTRIC 00.: Hearings were set on petitions for pole and wire locations on Marblehead Street and Ma'ssachusetts Avenue for March 16, 1964 at 7:30 p.m. MOSCULAR D~BTROPHYASSOCIATIONS OF AMERICA, INC.: A letter advising the Board that the 1964 drive for ~DA would be from May 3Oth to June 7th, was received by the Board. REGIONAL VOCATIONAL SCHOOL: A report of the bOth meeting of the VOKE school was received.
