RUssell, Manager'of the Merrimack Valley National Bank for the efforts of the Board and ClzLef Joseph Lawlor .which re- sulted in actiVating the traffic!lights to Stop and ~o ~ignsls at the corner:of Main Street and Chickering Road. The Selectmen had spent much time, numerous meetings and correspondence finall~mccomplished one of seven major requests to the'stats f6r the benefit of the Town. B & M RAILROAD, NARBM~EAD ST. CECGSING: · .A. letter, in reply to the 'Board's complaint, December 29, 196h, was received and an expiration as to why the automatic gates failed to function properly on 'December 8 and 25 was proffered. They enclosed an emergency number to call which wa-~given to the police department. The number : E.A. 7-6000, Ext. 749. Aletter from the National Board of Fire Underwriters contained a ~eff a m~nicipal grading schedule for determining the correct amount of insurance The copy was sent to Mr. Andrew Coffin, Insurance Agent for the Town. :
