The Board designated 'that a letter be sent to District Highway ~hgineer, ~acob Berkover
and Mr. Lespasi, P~viting them to a conference in the Selectmen's Office to meet the
newly-elected H~.~.my Surve2or, Nicholas Nicetta who ~lould like to be advised on several
matters pertaining to State Aid and maintenance..
PAR~NGBAN:
Selectman Fred Oakes recommended to the Board thatthe parking ban enforced during the
winter months be lifted due to the soft condition of areas where people have to park
cars. The ~oar~ approved with the stipulation that, in the event of an unprecedented
snow storm, the townspeople wouldcosperate by parking their cars off the roads.
HIGHWAY S~RVEYOR: '
Mr. Nicetta appeared before the Board to discuss problems confronting the department and
made several reco~,~endatinns to which the Board agreed unanimously. Mr. Nicetta stated
that he was getting cooperation from the Board of Public Works and .that if every depart-
ment cooperated witheach other, the Town would benefit.

Selectman Finneran requested a street light be i~stslled at a new home on 22 Prospect St~~
for Mr. Lambert who is Just moving in to a new hone. Poleeisalreedy installed.

}ir. Nicetta recommended an amendment to Article 63 and the Board of Selantm~n w~nt on
record that they were unanimously in favor of the proposed amendment.
