A letter from Town Counsel re the above-named paper street advised the Board that..they:
could not be involved in any decision re the elimination of Vine Street ~nd that Mr.
Spraggon should be advised to contact his lawyer in this matter. A copy of Town .Counsel's
letter was sent to Mr. Spraggon.
ANTI-POVERTY PROGRAN:
The ,~oard signed and had attested a Town Resolve re eatS-poverty program.
PARK ST. PROBI2N:
~n involved letter from traffic engineer, K. Krekortam, advised that the State did'n~t
think a stop sign was necessary at the Park St. location. They suggested their dept.
draw up a plan of re-design at the location. The. Board voted to send a reply stating
that if the state would approve the installation of a stop sign it would save said
dept. all the bother of a plan 'of re-design. Danger of children being hit while creas-
ing intersection was advised once agar.

Letter from State DF~ re Salem end Dale Street improvements was received and a copy~was
given to Highway Surveyor end Town Accountant.
