SURVEY, STREET LImiTING:
The Board approved a street light survey for the corner of Osgoud and Bradford Streets.
GAS EXCAVATIG~:
Petition was approved by the Board for excavation of 17' on Davis St. for gas service installs5
ation.
In answer to a letter from the Board, the Town of Middleton Selectmen, sent a copy of an
amendment to their town By-Laws re Junked or unregistered cars. It is as follow:
The By-Laws of the Town of Middleton arc amended as follows: By adding to part Two.
~' th~udential ~ffairs and Znternal Police, Sec. 1 P. (3).
;~o person in charge or control ~of any real *estate within the Town, whether as
owner, tenant, occupant, lessee, or otherwise, shs~ perk, store, leave or a~low any
umregistered motor vehicle of any kind and without a valid*wlndshield:sticker, so
called, issued and displayed as required by Section 7A of Chapter 90, General Laws,
as amended, which is in ~recked, Junked, partis~y dismantled, or abandoned condition,
~hethar attended or not, on such property longer than sixty (60) days, ?,~nless a permit
has been obtained from the Board of Selectmen; except this By-Law shall not apply with
regard to a vehicle in an enclosed building. Any person violating any of the provisions
of this By-Iai; shall upon conviction thoreof be punishe, d by a fine not to exceed *twenty
(~0.)."
The foregoing amendment to the By-Laws of the Town of Middleton was approved by
Attorney General Edward W; Brooke on January 5, 1966.

tee and the Building Inspector ~th ins~ructians to st,~d~mame and, if they think this a
solution to the problem, to draw up an Article for the ne~ Town Neeting on the matter.

would be made by the Town. Before awards can be made, the law requires that damage
be taken. Mr~ Schruender, making the appraisals, ~ms of the op~ton that, on some easements
no damege .would be incurred ~ suggested (Town C~,~.~al) that damageappraisaI~wou!d be at' the
nominal figure of $1.00. One of the parcels, owned by the Town itself, can be taken care of
by. a .~imple release which Town Counsel enclosed for the Town Seal ~na signatures of .the Board.
As sooh as appraisals are completed, Town Cm~el will see to their proper disposition.
