They will have the required report for Town Meeting. SIDEWALKS ON OSGOOD STREET: The Board voted to have another letter sent to the I~ inquiring as to the progress made re the installation of a sidewalk on Osgood Street from Phillips court,, up Osgoed S~reet to the corner of Main end Osgoed Streets. This sidewalk-is for the protection of the schoolchildren in that area who go to the Kittredge, Atkinson end High Schon~. The meeting adjourned at*9:00 p.m. Alice M. ADVISORY BD. NEET~G: Chairmen Peters stated he would like to send out letterainviting the various depart- ment heads to convene in the Fire Station to discuss the needs of the departments so ~ they would have some idea for the budget: demands. The Board and he decided they would hold the meeting on November 7. Mr. Peters said he would~ bring in a letter to be copied to send to all departments for the meeting. Selectmen:Ftnck"hoped ~hat the departments would be more cooperative end state their plans ,for their budgets at this maeting~end not wait until later. Chairman Oakes made a motion to ~end a letter of commendation and congrat~lhtions to Mrs. Nary Midgley and her mother,~ Mrs. Mabhl Thomson. Mrs. Midglay has been appointed District Director of the Americen Legion Auxiliary end Mrs. Thomson has been appointed Executive Director of District 8.
