UN DAY CHAIE~AN:
A letter of thanks was received by the Board from Neal Fisher, ~n Day Chairman, for their
aid in making the day the success it was.
T~N REPORT :
A discussion with the Town Report Committee was held re the matter of deleting unesessary
material from the Town Report. N. Andover's book. bas twice as many pages thau other towns
and cities larger than North Andover. The pages cost $17.00 per page. The committee
stated that it was not necessary to list individual vendors of pipe and materials, etc.
but recommended that Just the cost of materials be listed. Mr. Oakes agreed with:deleting
details, Mr. Finneran said he thought the Townspeople would object and Mr. FinCk said he
would like to hold his opinion for another week in order to look over last year's.book.
Decision was held until neat week's meeting.

B. Bastian, 20 Harold St. was drawn for Jury duty for January 3, 1967, ~ Salem.
The Board were invited to a preconstuction meeting at Danvers, Dec. 5, at 2:00 p.m.
Meeting on mos~uito control, December 6,' at Governor Drummer Academy, 7:30 p.m.
Meeting to discuss 9 point program on economic developments, Dec. 13th, at Essex A~ Danvers.~
Meeting with Perkins Machinery representatives and H. Surveyor, Dec. 7th at 12:O0 noon. . · '. ·

Chairman Fred 0akesl announced that plans for the annual Sing were .coming ialong nicely.

[SANT~ CLAUS PARADE:
Mr..McEvoy, Chairman, appeared before the Board to .announce that 7 bands and"several:floats'
would participate in the parade which woul~ start at 2:00 p.m., December llth,' at'. the High
'School, proceed down Main Street to the Stop and Shop parking lot.where the High School
Band .will play ~ristmes carols and candy will be .distributed to the-children.

·Announcement was made by the Board that the Town Warrant would be opened for Articles
Decembar 12, at 7:30 p.m and closed January 9, 1967 at~9:00 p.m. ~ Towm E~ectiomwill be

Budgets, under the Jurisdiction of.the Board, were discussed and determined~at: this
meeting. ,,
Cl~' DEFENSE CC~PLA~NT: "-
A Mrs. Joseph Quinlan, Water Street, claimed that the radion communication system of
the O. D. department was interfering with her TV set. The co~mmmications officer appeared
before the Board that everything had been tested out and the complaint was no% Jus%~tfied.
Her set was very old, year 1952, and in poor condition.
The meeting adjourned at 9:00 p.m.
