Fessenden, 3 Williams St. Elsie Thompson, 435 Andover Street. 4=STAR AVI~TION: The Board voted to send e letter of thanks and appreciation to John Hansen of 4- Star Aviation, Enc. who enabled John Robinson of the High School to take aerial pictures for the Town Report. GHAIN-LINK FENCE: Chairman 0ekes advised the group that the Highway Dept. had installed a chain-link fence on Stevens Street thereby alleviating a danger to passing children. STOP SI~1- -'. Johnson at Great pond Rd. The Board~equested Chief Lawlor to conduct a survey for a proposed Stop sign at the dangerous, intersection on Johnson .St. at Great Pond Rd. Charles Cyr will be advised . to make the required T-47 forms for the state. LAW-NORtH ANDOYf~ BOUNDARY LINE: The-Board will request a progress report from Brasseur Associates re the relocation of the above-named line. Town R~FIRNA~Y: Announcement"was made by the Board that a meeting with department heads will be set up to' discuss future of Town Infirmary buildings. INVITATIGIS: Invitation, Feb. 3rd, at Western Electric re pollution abatement. Invitation to Legislator's reception, Feb. 2, at~Andover Inn. Noticeof N. A. Historical hearing, Jan. 30~ 1967. CHPATER 90: Notice received of Chapter 90 grants from DPW to be attested by Town. Clerk after Town ~ - Meeting'and sent back. RESIGNATIGI; The .,esignatiom of School Crossing Guard, Theresa Morin, was accepted with regret and a letter of thanks and appreciation for her services during the past ymara was voted to be sent to her. Natalie Stenin, a reserve, was ~appointed to replace Mrs. Morin. STREET LIGHTS: ~,, The Board approved, two street light surveys for Sutton St., vicinity of the new K. of 'C. '' home and in the vicinity of 429 Main St. WAR N~NORIAL. REQUEST: A letter from a Mrs. Robert NcGibbon, 133 Pleasant St., requesting that the small plot or mo,m~ at the beginning of Stevens Street be constructed as a Memorial to Samuel Bard~ley'who:died:~n World War II at the age of 18. The Board accepted the letter, and will: take it under Consideration of the request. SID~NAr.w~: The' installation of sidewalks 'on Osgood Street, from PhiLlips Ct. to Kittredge School add on Chickering Rd. from Village Green Apts. to corner of Massachusetts Avenue and bickering Road will have to wait for Town Meeting action. Selectman Ralph Finck was absent due to illness and confinement to the Lawrence General Hospital. BOY SCOUT WEEE PROCLAMATI~: · A Proclamation ~s road as set forth by the Board to the Boy Scouts and their leaders.. present at the Selectman~s meeting. Explorer Scouts sat in as executives of the town and participated in the ensuing meeting. They invited the Board to attend Special Church Services~ at 5:00 P.M. on February 12, 1967. The Board said they would attend. JUROR: Benedict Perrone, 11 Harwood St., was drawn to serve for the March 6th Sitting, at Salem.
