A petition to excavame to install a gas service on Farnum Street was tabled one week
until approval was received from the Highway Surveyor and Chief of Police.

The Board voted to send attested copy of ~ta taken at Town Meeting to' raise and;appr$-
priate '$2~O0, for the installation of a sidewalk on the southeasterly side of Osgoodk
St., running from Junction of Osgood and Hain Streets %o the Junction of 0sgood~.S~. and
Phillips Court. The Board requested the District Highway Engineer, Jacob Barkover,
~hen they could expect the state to begin installation of:the sidewalk.

Selectmen Finneran and Oeken will meet Wednesday, Narch 22, at 1:00 p.m. with Chief
Lawlor to view. sites and plan new Police Station voted afi~.rmatively at Town Nesting..

Selectman ~red p. 'Oakes requested that letters of appreciation and th~ks for the
cellent and successful Town Report be sent to the TO~ Report chairman end his committee.
Ne especially mentioned Mr. Joseph Aliquo, school Art Supervisor, for his work on the
cover and the Nigh School photography club for the pictures taken for the report.m Mr.

ROAD COMPEA~NT:
A letter from Mrs. Irene Dimery, 430 Pleasant St. complaining about the Stevens pond
~ road area was ~eferred to the l~way Surveyor for investigation and report.
