Augus~ 14 - 28...September 11. The members of the Board will meet informally to sign the weekly warrant on Monday afternoons, the week when a regular meeting is not scheduled. ~HEARING: ~A petition was approved for the New England Tel. & Tel~ 0o. to lay underground conduits a~d · manholes on Massachusetts Avenue and intersecting streets. 53 abutters had been so notified before the hearing but no objection was offered. The work will be done prior to the'recon- ~struction of Mass. Ave. by the state DPW, ~:.PETITIC~: ..... Petition of Mass. 'Mr~ ~leonard Oates, florist, appeared before the Board objecting to the "Quonset-Type,, of ~uildings..and additions that neighbor, Mr. Seymour, was erecting on property next. to his. Me had Secretary, Alice Letarte, read zoning .la~. #404 of town which he stated was being: ' : .violated by Seymours' additions. He also said that ~uilding Inspector'hed no rightto give · him a building permit and also stated that Mr. FOster had not contacted him as requested. L. The Board stated that Mr. Foster was requested three weeks previous to the meeting ~o sub- mit a detailed report.on the matter and, to date, had faile~ to do~.so. The Board advised" Mr. Oates that Mr. Foster would be requested to have a report submitted to the Board by next Monday's meeting, JUne %. At this time, the Board continued, they would be able. to ascertain the facts of the case, pro and con, and give Mr. Sates a definite anSWer to his 'ilcomplaint, The Selectmen will also inspect the building, in question, with Mr. Foster be- fore next Monday night's meeting.
