HEARING: Petition for Joint pole location on Rosedals Avenue tabled for two weeks, request of J. Casey, telephone Right of Way agent. STREET LIGHT: HAN~OOD ST. The survey received for i~proved street lighting on Harwood Street was tabled per motion of Selectmen. Finck. Notice received of street lights installed on Farnum, Jetwoed Sts. and Hewitt Avenue. GAS EXCAVATIG~S: Rea, .Fern~ood, Peters St. Petition to excavate for installation of gas seryices were approved by the Board. N~N POLICE STATI~: Copy of letter to Board of Health re new police station received by the Board. LAND COURT: Letter end notice of hearing from Land Court referred to Town Counsel. Notice of retirement of Anna P. Aleksa, town e~ployee, received by the B~-rd. N OKMAN SCOTT: Copy of letter to Normar Scott from Building Inspector received. Mr. Scott was advised that legal, action would be taken against him if he did not removed the unregistered on his property within 30 days. The vehicles consisted of 1 flat bed. trailer tractor cab 1 dump '.truck, 1 1956 Oldsmobile car and 1 tractor with scoop and back hoe ~registared for 1967. DEPT. OF PUBLICWOR~S: An offer was received and accepted by the Board for a free copy of a-book relating bridges '~and waterways. Additional copies will he $10.00. A proclamation ~and a Distinguished Service Award was received by · Day in October.- The proclamation was referred to UN Chairmen,. Rev. Neal Fisher. PEDESTRIAN' PROGRAM: · R~eceived by the Board from the AAA which was referred tethe Safety Officer, Frank Dushume.-' TP~V~~ REMOVAL REQUEST: A~heering.was set on tree removal request from Lloyd Benchman, 94 Main St. The date set is 10-9-67. S~T,~ STREET SP~ING: - A complaint end.request for speed control on salem Street was received.by theBoard end re- ferred ;to: Chief. Lawlor for investigation. Upon motion of Chairman ~eran, the Board voted to send a letter to Mr. Kirkmen, Manager of mthe Lawrence Airport, expressing their wishes that sir line service be reinstated at the air-~ port~~ . ~ MARST~ ST~T~-Ar0umd: Chairman Finnera~ reported that per telephone conversation with K. Krekorinn, State Traffic Engineer, the'Marston Street turn-around for trucks is in the process of construction. turn-around will alleviated the necessity for trucks coming off Rt. 49~, to Mass..Ave. and then on to Wavorley Road, a densely populated, residential area. N. Nicetta appeared before the Board and stated that .no dumping signs at certain hours were being installed'at the site. A letter requesting data on the establishment of a personnel Board was received and referred to the N. A. Personnel Board for processing. " STREET LIGHT SURVEY: .
